Welcome to St. Luke's

Our Mission

We, the Roman Catholic Community of St. Luke’s Parish, acknowledge that we share our common belief in One Triune God and in one faith through baptism we share the common Priesthood of Jesus Christ. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we strive to live the message of the Gospel through faithful teaching, worship and service. As a family of believers, we are called to witness the Lord’s presence among us by loving acceptance of all people.

Mindful of God’s love and providence, we are aware of our human limitations. (Therefore,) we desire to further our spiritual and moral growth in faithful evangelization through authentic witness of discipleship of Jesus Christ. Through the stewardship of our time, talent and treasure, we express accountability to God and the shared responsibility to one another.

Message from Father Andy:

Please know that The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is from January 18th through January 25th, 2012. This year's theme is "We will all be changed by the Victory of our Lord Jesus Christ" (cf.1 Cor 15:51-58).

In the spirit of prayer for unity and a desire to be open to the transforming power of God, please join us for a Prayer Service on Saturday, January 21st at 7:00 PM, as we-the faithful followers of Christ in our local community of Middleburg, pray for unity among us.

Message from the Youth Director - Serving Our Seniors Program:

We need Families to assist St. Luke’s Parish’s Senior Citizens. We need Senior Citizens who need help around their house. Please contact Regina Quinones at cym@stlukesparish.org or 910-7221 or 282-0439 x113 for more information. View the flyer.

Update from Youth Director Regarding Serving Our Seniors Program:

Dear All,

Our "Serving Our Seniors" program is going well!!! Perhaps too well! I have run out of family volunteers and still have a list of Seniors who need help.

Please consider giving some time to our Senior Citizens in the parish. Just give me your name & phone number and I will pair you up with a Senior. The idea is for the whole family to help out or depending on the job just an adult. We DO NOT send youth by themselves.

It only entails a few hours to help someone out...

Blessings,
Ms. Regina
