The St. Luke’s Festival Ministry is a highly rewarding ministry that coordinates the St. Vincent’s presents the St. Luke’s Annual Spring Festival. The festival, held the first weekend of May annually, is a premier event on the church’s fundraising roster. While supporting the many outreach programs of the church, we also contribute to Annunciation Catholic School and the new Child Care Center. Our mission is to foster and build the community spirit within the parish while reaching far past our doors out into the greater Clay County area. Positions are available for all talents whether you are able to join the dedicated planning committee that prepares year-round or share your time only for the event.
Fiscal Year 2016 Financial Update from the Finance Committee
Below is a summary of our finances through the close of the second quarter, which ended on December 31, 2015. Revenues and expenses are trending below budget. Offertory income is $21,287.79 below budget, which is reflective of the “shortfall of weekly goal”, reported weekly in the bulletin. The budget balance is a negative ($39,252.36). The negative balance will continue until the sale of the old rectory is finalized. The old rectory is under contract and should close in the next 45 days. The budget was balanced using $100,754.32 of the money expected from the old rectory sale.
We have $475,359.60 in our checking accounts and on deposit with the diocese.
We are paying our bills on time, and we are most grateful for you continued generosity.
