The Finance Council examines the needs, resources, and budget of the parish, and as an established consultative body, advises the pastor or parish administrator on appropriate distribution of funds and on allocation adjustments when and where required. The Parish Council assists the pastor and parish staff through discernment and reflection in articulating the mission of the parish. The Council promotes coordination and communication among various parish organizations and activities. New members to the Parish Council are elected annually in September. The mission of the St. Luke’s Stewardship Committee is to support the parish mission by coordinating revenue resources while advancing an attitude of gratitude through stewardship education and recognition of parishioners’ participation in returning time, talent and treasure for God’s work.
